About the Job
The Yang research lab at the University of Minnesota is looking for
a postdoc with microfluidic expertise to lead a project related to
the transport of bacteria in porous media and multiphase flow. A
PhD degree in engineering or earth science is needed.
75% - Conduct laboratory experiments related to microfluids. The
postdoc scholar will have the opportunity to learn different
skills, and will work on a project related to the transport of
bacteria in porous media and multiphase flow. 25% - Collaborate
with PI to write technical reports about the research, submit grant
applications and disseminate results at conferences.
Qualifications
Required/Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. required in Engineering or
other sciences field by the time of hire and experience in a
laboratory environment. Background in fluid mechanics and
laboratory experiments is preferred. Data and image processing
skills are also preferred.

The St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is an interdisciplinary
fluid mechanics research lab and educational facility under the
College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
